Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of YBace (ybace.com). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use YBace.

1. The service

YBace provides AI-assisted career tools: resume analysis and tailoring, cover letter generation, application tracking, interview preparation, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use YBace.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of everything you upload — resumes, job descriptions, notes, and generated documents based on them. You grant us only the limited license needed to process your content and provide the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

4. Acceptable use

• Don't use YBace to create false credentials or misrepresent your experience. The tool rephrases and organizes your real background; fabricating qualifications is on you, and we don't endorse it.
• Don't abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service.
• Don't upload content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights.

5. Subscriptions & billing

• Pro is billed monthly and renews automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Early-access pricing is locked for as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted.
• If a payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the free tier after notice.

6. No guarantee of outcomes

YBace improves the quality and speed of your applications, but hiring decisions are made by employers. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or any particular result. AI-generated content may contain errors — review everything before you send it.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using YBace and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
